Mungkin sudah ada beberapa pengguna BlackBerry yang merasakan sesautu yang berbeda dengan browser di BlackBerry-nya. Beberapa konten porno sudah tidak dapat diakses lagi melalui BlackBerry. Hal ini dikarenakan RIM telah mengikuti aturan pemerintah soal filterasi konten porno. Berikut adalah kutipan pernyataan resmi dari RIM soal filterasi konten porno:

RIM statement – 20 January 2011:

RIM is now in the process of implementing an internet content filtering solution that addresses our carrier partners’ regulatory obligations in Indonesia. The technical solution meets the Ministry’s stated requirements and is designed to utilize the same standard filter lists provided by the Government to the industry in Indonesia. RIM previously confirmed its commitment to work with Indonesian carriers to address this matter as soon as possible and we are pleased to have implemented the solution in advance of the date requested by the Ministry. RIM looks forward to continuing our investments in the Indonesian marketplace and to continue supporting the needs of our customers, developers and distribution partners.
